We are a small but passionate development agency and consultancy based in the UK, focused on delivering impactful products in the health and wellbeing space. We’re dedicated to providing high-quality, purpose-driven solutions, and as we grow, we’re looking for a QA Support Engineer to join our team part-time. This role is perfect for a passionate student eager to break into the software industry and gain hands-on experience with product testing and quality assurance.

As we grow, we're looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our technical team, drive innovation, and help us continue delivering high-quality, purpose-driven work.

Formed and funded in 2013 by a team of experienced digital industry experts, Fat Fish has built a portfolio of high quality products for clients as well as generating its own intellectual property.

About the Role

As our QA Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of every product we deliver to clients. Working closely with both clients and our development team, you’ll define detailed test plans, execute them, and make sure that all products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll also document any bugs or issues and collaborate with the team to ensure they’re resolved.

This is a part-time role, perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in software testing while working on meaningful projects that make a difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Test Plans: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create detailed test plans based on product specifications.

  • Run Tests: Execute manual and automated tests, ensuring that all features are thoroughly vetted before product release.

  • Report Bugs: Identify and document bugs, issues, and areas for improvement, and verify fixes once applied.

  • Collaborate: Work with the development team to communicate test results and ensure issues are addressed before final delivery.
