Fat Fish provided design, development, and data analysis for the MyCognition platform - a suite of applications that test, track, and monitor cognitive fitness to help improve productivity and reduce absenteeism for business employees. MyCognition also has a version of the service that helps children with their performance at school. The apps developed have now been approved by the NHS.
Process
Building a mobile app in Unity that offers cognitive health assessments through mini games involves several stages. The process begins with designing the game mechanics, creating engaging graphics, and developing the user interface. The cognitive assessments are integrated into the mini games to collect relevant data. Simultaneously, the separate game called AquaSnap is designed to be part of the same training program. Rigorous testing and iterative development ensure a seamless and impactful user experience for cognitive health assessment and training.
Challenges
Developing MyCognition, a cognitive health app with a companion game in Unity, presents unique challenges.
