For founders with an idea, a prototype or a vibe-coded MVP

You built the prototype. We will help you build the business.

You have proved the idea with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or a slide deck. Now it needs to be secure, scalable and ready for paying users, and you need someone senior to tell you what you do not know yet. That is what we do.

The gap between a demo and a product is where most founders get stuck.

It works on your laptop.

Will it survive your first thousand users, a security question from an investor, or a customer's procurement team?

You do not know what you do not know.

Data protection, payments, app stores, accessibility, health data rules. The things that sink launches are rarely the features.

Agencies quote you a build.

You needed a partner who questions the plan, keeps scope tight and cares whether the business works.

How it works

Start small. Only commit when you know what you are building.

STEP 1 · [£PRICE] fixed fee

Launch Readiness Review

We test your prototype the way real users and attackers would, review the code, data and compliance position, and give you a plain-English report with a costed plan.

STEP 2

Build to production

A senior product and engineering team takes it from prototype to something you can sell, keeping what works and rebuilding what will not scale.

STEP 3

Grow the business

Ongoing product and tech leadership, plus help with grant applications, fundraising and R&D tax claims.

Track record

Products we have helped founders ship, especially in health and wellbeing.

A clinician showing a tablet to a patient

Thriving Clinics

A partnership of Cheshire GP practices needed a public site for private care that still felt like the surgery patients already trust. We built the site and embedded Cliniko booking, so people can arrange a free chat or consultation without leaving the page.

A person practising yoga on a mountain ridge

Welldoing

Welldoing’s directory of therapists and counsellors had outgrown its platform. We rebuilt it in phases: clearer requirements, a backend that can take more practitioners and clients, and faster search, match and booking.

A brown dog running on a beach

Animor

Animor needed a pet-owner community on web and mobile, with insurance treated as part of the product rather than a page added later. We built the platform from the ground up, including the journeys, consent and data shape a cover product needs.

Dr Andrew Wilson
FatFish understood what we were trying to build from the first conversation - a private service that still feels like the GP practice our patients already trust. They delivered a polished site and embedded Cliniko booking so people can arrange a free chat without leaving the page. The integration just works - and the team kept clinical workflow at the centre throughout.

Built for you if

You are a solo founder or a team of up to four, you have raised between nothing and £250k, you do not have a tech team, and you want a partner rather than a supplier.

Not for you if

You want the cheapest possible build to a fixed spec, or you would rather not hear that part of the plan needs to change.

Founders usually ask

Do I need a technical co-founder first?

No. Many founders we work with do not have one. We can act as your technical team and help you decide whether and when to hire.

Can you work with code generated by Lovable, Bolt or Cursor?

Yes. The review tells you what is worth keeping and what needs rebuilding before real users arrive.

Who owns the code?

[Confirm against FatFish standard terms before publishing.]

What does it cost?

The Launch Readiness Review is a fixed fee of [£PRICE]. Builds are scoped from the review, so you see the cost before you commit.

Do you work outside the UK?

Yes. We are London-based and work with founders elsewhere too.
